Due to the ongoing demand for Steve to pass on his amazing and unique knowledge to future generations, he’s now offering limited one-on-one blacksmithing classes to potential students in blacksmithing. Now in his 70’s, his teaching time is limited. The courses offered are intense full-day or weekend private courses where you’ll get truly personal tuition from one of the last remaining old-school blacksmiths.

The venue is very traditional too. So, step back in time to 1880s Australia for a day and experience what it was like to work with the local village smith – But remember courses are very limited and get booked out very quickly, as these venues are getting hard to find.

The courses run from 10.30am – 4.30pm and include everything you need for the day, such as all PPE gear, materials, equipment, and a light lunch on the veranda of the blacksmith shop! And at $550 a student inclusive of GST we think this is great value, given you’ll be working with an old school master smith one-on-one with nearly 50 years experience, and you also have an 1880s blacksmith shop all to yourself!!
