Step back in time…

The last Blacksmith shop closed in Wildes meadow in the late 1950s on the very site of the new Blacksmith shop. There has now probably been a blacksmith shop on this very site in the Southern  Highlands for close to 150 years.

Our Blacksmithing classes BOOK OUT very quickly . However, there are still places available in right now 2020, just contact me, Steve on 0402481461, and with Christnas coming up people like to give a Blacksmithing Course as a Christmas Gift.

Thank you for all the your support and interest by the way over the last 3 years!!

So, why not join us and step back in time with Steve Hogwood in an authentic Blacksmith shop from the 1880s and experience how the past was forged. These full day Saturday Blacksmithing Courses are full on, using original equipment and techniques

These courses are also very, very hands on too. Experience the Southern Highlands and enjoy lunch on the veranda of the Blacksmith shop, while you look over the Meadow and then take home the fruits of your labour – everything is supplied and all you have to bring is your smile and your passion to learn about a trade that’s as old as the human race itself, the ‘King of Trades’ as it was called.
