With over 40 years of experience we produce the real thing not cheap, welded, cold bent imitation copies. That’s why our clients trust us! We’ve restored everything in iron, from horse drawn vehicles, 300 year old Spanish Sea Chests, pieces for vintage cars, repairs to 18 century French gates and designed and made contemporary pieces for films and commercials, such as fire cranes and pot racks.

We also design and produce pieces specific to your interior design needs.

BLACKSMITHING COURSES AT THE 1910 IRONWORKS.

We hold regular beginner blacksmithing courses at the 1880s Blacksmith Shop in Wildes Meadow in the beautiful Southern Highlands.

WHAT TO EXPECT – – – A full on forging day from 10.30am until 4.30pm with a light lunch supplied on the veranda of the blacksmithing shop. Each student has their OWN ANVIL AND TOOLS and we set up 3 to 4 forging stations outside with a coke forge and x2 forging stations inside the Blacksmith Shop using a gas forge, and we alternate during the day, so get to work on different anvils and forges.

The courses are keenly priced at $280 per student and that INCLUDES EVERYTHING!!! There are also a few places left in September and October 2019 – – – It’s also easy to book – – -Just contact Steve on 0402481461 to book your place or email me on stephen.hogwood@optusnet.com.au
