I really dig these people and I’ll be meeting the founder at the Botanical Gardens Festival in Sydney in early Feb.

The Diggers Club – if you’re a gardener become a member!

Over 20 years ago, The Diggers Club began pioneering the rescue of heirloom vegetables to ensure that these seeds, which have been passed down through generations of farmers and backyard growers, were preserved for future generations.

As this family business grew, Diggers has developed into a unique, gardening club that now reaches far beyond a supplier of heirloom seeds.

The Diggers Club actively fights against the introduction of GE seeds to protect Australian’s food security. The gardens attract thousands of visitors each year and their Fork to Fork food philosophy has won them the recognition of industry opinion leaders. If you haven’t heard of these guys before, take a moment to find out a bit more about them.

The Blazey family have now gifted The Diggers Club to The Diggers Garden and Environment Trust, to ensure its work continues.

Here is a group of passionate Australian gardeners who are here to inspire you to grow delicious fruits and vegetables full of flavour and to help Australian’s grow beautiful, productive gardens.
